Fastbraces: The ‘Fast’ Track To Your New Smile

Smile Makeover | Overmeyer Family Dental | Orlando, FL

NASCAR fans appreciate that going fast is great, but winning races takes more than just speed. It takes skill and control by the driver. It also takes a strong team to make changes as needed.

You might be wondering what this has to do with dentistry?

Well, we’ve got something that works in a similar way, although it’s not quite as fast or exciting as a NASCAR race. However, when you get to the finish line with this service, you will have a reason to celebrate.

Fastbraces® can do the things that traditional braces can do but in a fraction of the time. We’ve seen what it can do at our dentist office in Orlando, FL.

And we’ve seen the difference it’s made in the confidence of our patients.

If you are interested in orthodontic care, you owe it to yourself to schedule a consultation at Overmeyer Family Dental. Call (407) 871-3143 or contact us online if you want to know what Fastbraces can do for you.

At The Start

Before you start any orthodontic treatment, you should visit with one of our dentists. This gives us an opportunity to examine your teeth and discuss what kinds of changes you would like to make. This could be:

◼ Making teeth straighter

◼ Closing gaps between teeth

◼ Creating room between crowded teeth

◼ Fixing open bites or crossbites

◼ Adjusting overbites or underbites

This visit also is a chance for you to learn about your different orthodontic options, including of course Fastbraces. What you decide may depend on your goals for your smile or whether you are focused on orthodontic care’s cosmetic benefits, health benefits, or both.

Get Moving

You can’t reach the finish if you never get moving.

Orthodontic care is possible because your teeth can be moved. Orthodontics is a way to guide that movement to give you the smile that you want to see. With any kind of braces, including Fastbraces, this is done with a series of brackets and wires.

The brackets are bonded directly to your teeth. Then the archwires are connected to the brackets. Throughout your treatment, your brackets will be tightened and adjusted as needed. This keeps your braces pulling or pushing your teeth in the directions they need to go to create your new and improved smile.

The Same, But Different

In a NASCAR race, the teams are working with pretty much the same stuff — car, tires, fuel, etc. All the drivers have the same goal of reaching the finish as fast as possible, but as you know if you’ve followed racing for any amount of time, different drivers can have very different styles.

Now, try to imagine that one driver and team figured out a better way to do this. In fact, they were so much better that they could finish the race in half the time of the other teams. That’s something that would completely transform motorsports.

Well, that’s basically what Fastbraces are in the world of orthodontics. To put this in dental terms, this can mean finishing your orthodontic care in a year or less in many cases rather than the two years or more that it can take with traditional braces.

We realize that’s not as exciting as cars racing hundreds of miles per hour, but you can trust us when we say Fastbraces are leading the pack.

Changing The Game

What makes Fastbraces different is the focus on efficiency. It’s about finding the most effective way to move your teeth. This is where Fastbraces unique triangular brackets play an important role.

Traditional braces have square or rectangular brackets. As a result, they move teeth in stages. First, the crowns are repositioned. Then, your roots are aligned to keep your teeth where they should be. For decades, this system has worked for millions of people.

Fastbraces is working to do this same thing, but its differences allow Fastbraces to move your crowns and roots at the same time. This greatly reduces the time it takes to transform your smile.

Get To Your Checkered Flag

It’s hard to explain how you will feel when your Fastbraces are removed and you see your new straight teeth for the first time. But based on what we’ve seen from previous patients, there’s a good chance you’ll be smiling like you just won a race.
