Not Watching What You Eat
Eating healthy is a challenge for everyone. We dentists struggle with it, too, even when it comes to staying away from foods that can hurt our teeth. Sticky treats are especially bad for your teeth because stay on the teeth longer than most foods.

Skipping Dental Visits
We recommend that you visit a dentist about once every six month mouths for cleanings and exams. During these visits, we’ll assess the mouth for any abnormalities and then polish the teeth to make it more difficult for plaque and harmful bacteria to attach to the tooth. We can also use that time to provide great preventive treatments like fluoride treatments and dental sealants. People skip dental visits for a lot of reasons. They might be afraid of the dentist or embarassed about their teeth. Everyone ends up at the dentist eventually, and preventive care always costs less than restorative dentistry.
