Her plans are to graduate with a master’s in psychology, focusing on dental phobias, with the hope of incorporating her expertise into Dr. Overmeyer’s practice.
Leah graduated with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic in Savannah, GA in 1973. She loves her job because she gets to develop rapport with her patients and educates them in caring for their smiles. Leah has been with Dr. Overmeyer’s team since 1997. Because of the many changes in dentistry over the years, continuing education has been very important in helping Leah stay up to date with the latest care techniques.
